Before you can start to claim mileage in MyExpenses you will need to add your vehicle.
If you are logging in for the first time you will see a bar at the top of the Welcome screen. Use the link to go to the Vehicle Screen.
Otherwise this can be found in the User Profile section which is located on the drop down tool bar, select the “Add a new vehicle” link.
On the ‘’Add Vehicle’’ screen enter the registration of your vehicle.
Click the Manually add details button.
Select your Vehicle type from the drop down list.
Continue to enter your vehicle’s details. When the Select vehicle tab is highlighted, the details can be chosen from lists and engine capacity and fuel type will be populated automatically.
Manual entry allows you to enter all the details.
Check your vehicle details are correct on the final screen before submitting.
The engine capacity and fuel type are used to determine the vehicle category and correct mileage rates for claims.
Use the Submit button to either save the vehicle for immediate use or for it to be authorised by a member of the administration team. Once this has done the vehicle can be used in MyExpenses.
An email notification will be sent to confirm that the vehicle has been created and is ready to use within the system.
